AGADIR, Jan. 20, 2018 (AMP) — Kenya 2018 : Congo-Brazzaville defeated Burkina Faso by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a CHAN group stage game on Saturday night at the Agadir Stadium.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Bakoua ('67) and Bidimbou ('90).
The result put the Congolese top of Group D with 6 points. Burkina Faso is third with one point. In their last game, Congo-Brazzaville will meet second-placed Angola at the Agadir Stadium on January 24, while Burkina Faso will face Cameroon.
