SANTIAGO, Jul. 6, 1991 (AMP) — Chile 1991 : Paraguay defeated Peru by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Copa América group stage game on Saturday.

The result put the Paraguayans second in Group A with 3 points. In their next game, Paraguay will meet Venezuela on July 10, while Peru will face Chile.
