CUENCA, Jun. 21, 1993 (AMP) — Ecuador 1993 : Chile defeated Brazil by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-1), in a Copa América group stage game on Monday.

The result put the Chilians second in Group B with 3 points. Brazil is bottom with one point. In their last game, Chile will meet third-placed Peru on June 24, while Brazil will face Paraguay.
