MATURíN, Jul. 1, 2007 (AMP) — Venezuela 2007 : Brazil defeated Chile by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Copa América group stage game on Sunday afternoon.

The result put the Brazilians second in Group B with 3 points. Chile is third with 3 points. In their last game, Brazil will meet Ecuador on July 4, while Chile will face Mexico.
