FOXBOROUGH, Jun. 18, 2016 (AMP) — Centenario : Argentina reached the semifinals of the 2016 Copa América with a 4-1 win against Venezuela (halftime: 2-0) on Saturday night at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
Gonzalo Higuaín scored dual goals
Argentina dominated the first half thanks to goals from Higuaín ('8, '28). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Argentines further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Messi '60 and Lamela '71).
