AL RAYYAN, Dec. 11, 2004 (AMP) — Qatar 2004 : Kuwait defeated Saudi Arabia by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-1), in a Gulf Cup group stage game on Saturday at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan.
The result put the Kuwaiti top of Group B with 3 points. In their next game, Kuwait will meet second-placed Bahrain at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium on December 14, while Saudi Arabia will face Yemen.
