DOHA, Dec. 14, 2004 (AMP) — Qatar 2004 : Saudi Arabia defeated Yemen by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Gulf Cup group stage game on Tuesday at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha.
The result put the Saudi second in Group B with 3 points. Yemen is bottom with one point. In their last game, Saudi Arabia will meet third-placed Bahrain at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on December 17, while Yemen will face Kuwait.
