ABU DHABI, Jan. 18, 2007 (AMP) — United Arab Emirates 2007 : Saudi Arabia defeated Bahrain by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a Gulf Cup group stage game on Thursday at the Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
The result put the Saudi top of Group B with 3 points. In their next game, Saudi Arabia will meet Qatar at the Al Nahyan Stadium on January 21, while Bahrain will face Iraq.
