ISA TOWN, Jan. 5, 2013 (AMP) — Bahrain 2013 : The United Arab Emirates defeated Qatar by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a Gulf Cup group stage game on Saturday night at the Khalifa Sports City Stadium in Isa Town.
The result put the Emirati top of Group A with 3 points. In their next game, the United Arab Emirates will meet second-placed Bahrain at the Khalifa Sports City Stadium on January 8, while Qatar will face Oman.
