MANAMA, Jan. 8, 2013 (AMP) — Bahrain 2013 : The United Arab Emirates defeated Bahrain by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Gulf Cup group stage game on Tuesday night at the Bahrain National Stadium in Manama.
The result put the Emirati top of Group A with 6 points. Bahrain is bottom with one point. In their last game, the United Arab Emirates will meet third-placed Oman at the Bahrain National Stadium on January 11, while Bahrain will face Qatar.
