SPAIN, Aug. 24, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga: FC Barcelona won their first game of season against Elche CF.
Lionel Messi scored dual goals
Barcelona dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Argentine forward Lionel Messi in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Barca further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (El Haddadi '46 and Messi '63).
