SPAIN, Aug. 25, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga: Real Madrid won their first game of season against Cordoba CF.
Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French forward Karim Benzema in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ronaldo seconds before the end of regulation.
