SPAIN, Apr. 9, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 30: After three straigth draws, Los Periquitos returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Villarreal this Thursday.
Felipe Caicedo scored dual goals
Espanyol dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Ecuadorian forward Felipe Caicedo in the 24th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Periquitos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Caicedo '68 and Sanchez '79).
Villarreal CF remains in 6th place with 50 points from 30 games, 11 points behind Sevilla FC.
