SPAIN, Apr. 6, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 29: The match between Espanyol and Elche ended in a 1-1 draw on Monday.
Espanyol players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Espanyol forward Garcia in the 17th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Elche with a saving goal from Elche forward Cristian Herrera in the 77th minute.
RCD Espanyol remains in 12nd place with 35 points from 29 games, tie on points with Celta Vigo.
