La Liga (Week 28) : Valencia beats Elche 4-0
SPAIN, Mar. 20, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 28: Two wins in a row for Valencia. After their 2-0 win against Deportivo La Coruna on March 13, Los Che continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 4-0 victory over Elche this Friday.
Valencia dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Portuguese midfielder Gomes in the 44th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Che further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Alcácer '57, Roco '71/own and Otamendi '90).
Valencia CF remains in third place with 60 points from 28 games, 4 points behind Real Madrid, which has a game in hand.
