La Liga (Week 28) : Bilbao beats Almeria 2-1
SPAIN, Mar. 21, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 28: Five wins in a row for Athletic Bilbao. After their success against Rayo Vallecano, Eibar, Real Madrid and Celta Vigo, Los Leones continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-1 victory over Almeria this Saturday.
Athletic Bilbao dominated the first half thanks to goals from Etxeita ('9) and Rico ('26). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Leones further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Athletic Bilbao remains in 8th place with 39 points from 28 games, 5 points behind Malaga CF.
