La Liga (Week 22) : Almeria beats Cordoba 2-1
SPAIN, Feb. 8, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 22: Two wins in a row for Almeria. After their 1-0 win against Getafe on February 1, Los Rojiblancos continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-1 victory over Cordoba this Sunday.
Michel scored dual goals
Cordoba had started off well by taking the lead in the 10th minute with a goal by Argentine midfielder Cartabia. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Rojiblancos nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Michel '61, '66).
UD Almería climbed to 15th place with 22 points from 22 games, only one point behind Rayo Vallecano de Madrid, which has a game in hand.
