La Liga (Week 22) : Villarreal beats Granada 2-0
SPAIN, Feb. 7, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 22: After losing 3-2 to Barcelona on February 1, El Submarino Amarillo returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Granada this Saturday.
Villarreal dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Argentine defender Mateo Musacchio in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, El Submarino Amarillo further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Moreno in stoppage time.
Villarreal CF remains in 6th place with 41 points from 22 games, tie on points with Valencia CF, which has a game in hand.
