La Liga (Week 22) : Barcelona beats Bilbao 5-2
SPAIN, Feb. 8, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 22: Five wins in a row for Barcelona. After their success against Atletico Madrid, Deportivo La Coruna, Elche and Villarreal, Barca continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 5-2 victory over Athletic Bilbao this Sunday.
Barcelona dominated the first half thanks to goals from Messi ('15) and Suárez ('26). Leading 2-0 at the break, Barca further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (De Marcos '62/own, Neymar '64 and Pedro '86).
FC Barcelona remains in second place with 53 points from 22 games, one point behind Real Madrid.
