SPAIN, Aug. 30, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 2: After losing 1-0 to Malaga on August 23, Los Leones bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Levante this Saturday.
Athletic Bilbao dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Aritz Aduriz in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Leones further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Iturraspe '52 and Muniain '76).
Athletic Bilbao climbed to fourth place with 3 points from 2 games, tie on points with FC Barcelona, which has a game in hand.
