La Liga (Week 2) : Valencia beats Malaga 3-0
SPAIN, Aug. 29, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 2: After their 1-1 draw against Sevilla on August 23, Los Che bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Malaga this Friday.
Valencia dominated the first half thanks to goals from Alcácer ('31) and Parejo ('45). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Che further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Piatti in the 56th minute.
Valencia CF climbed to first place with 4 points from 2 games, one point ahead of runner-up FC Barcelona, which has a game in hand.
