La Liga (Week 2) : Sevilla beats Espanyol 2-1
SPAIN, Aug. 30, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 2: After their 1-1 draw against Valencia on August 23, Los Sevillistas bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Espanyol this Saturday.
Sevilla dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Colombian forward Carlos Bacca in the 34th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Sevillistas further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Iborra in the 57th minute.
Sevilla FC climbed to third place with 4 points from 2 games, tie on points with Celta Vigo.
