La Liga (Week 21) : Barcelona beats Villarreal 3-2
SPAIN, Feb. 1, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 21: Four wins in a row for Barcelona. After their success against Atletico Madrid, Deportivo La Coruna and Elche, Barca continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 3-2 victory over Villarreal this Sunday.
Villarreal forward Denis Cheryshev opened the score in the 30th minute, before seeing Barcelona catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Neymar. 1-1 at half time. Barca eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Rafinha ('53) and Messi ('55).
FC Barcelona remains in second place with 50 points from 21 games, one point behind Real Madrid, which has a game in hand.
