La Liga (Week 21) : Sevilla beats Espanyol 3-2
SPAIN, Feb. 1, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 21: After losing 3-1 to Valencia on January 25, Los Sevillistas returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Espanyol this Sunday.
Espanyol opened the score in the score in the 15th minute thanks to Christian Stuani on penalty, before Sevilla regained the advantage with Figueiras ('27) and Vitolo ('35). Leading 2-1 at the break, Los Sevillistas further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Aspas with one minute left in regular time.
Sevilla FC climbed to fourth place with 42 points from 20 games, 5 points behind Atletico Madrid.
