La Liga (Week 21) : Deportivo defeats Rayo 2-1

SPAIN, Jan. 30, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 21: After their 2-2 draw against Granada on January 25, the Brancoazuis bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano this Friday.

Celso Borges scored dual goals

Deportivo La Coruna midfielder Celso Borges opened the score in the 10th minute, before seeing Rayo Vallecano catch up in the 22nd minute thanks to Alberto Bueno. 1-1 at half time. The Brancoazuis eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Borges on penalty in the 72nd minute.

Rayo Vallecano de Madrid remains in 10th place with 23 points from 21 games, 3 points behind RCD Espanyol, which has a game in hand.
