SPAIN, Jan. 24, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 20: Two wins in a row for Atletico Madrid. After their 2-0 win against Granada on January 18, Los Colchoneros continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 3-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano this Saturday.
Antoine Griezmann scored dual goals
Atletico Madrid dominated the first half thanks to goals from Griezmann ('12, '22). Leading 2-1 at the break, Los Colchoneros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Manucho into his own net in the 56th minute.
Atletico Madrid remains in third place with 44 points from 20 games, 3 points behind FC Barcelona.
