La Liga (Week 16) : Real Madrid beats Sevilla 2-1
SPAIN, Feb. 4, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 16: Five wins in a row for Real Madrid. After their success against Espanyol, Getafe, Cordoba and Real Sociedad, Los Blancos continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-1 victory over Sevilla this Wednesday.
Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to goals from Rodríguez ('12) and Jese ('36). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Real Madrid remains in first place with 54 points from 21 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up FC Barcelona.
