La Liga (Week 4) : Real Madrid defeats Deportivo 8-2
SPAIN, Sep. 20, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 4: After losing 4-2 to Real Sociedad on September 13 and 1-2 to Atletico Madrid on September 13, Los Blancos bounced back with a 8-2 victory over Deportivo La Coruna this Saturday.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored tripple goals
Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to goals from Ronaldo ('29, '41) and Rodríguez ('36). Leading 3-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring five times (Bale '66, '74, Ronaldo '78 and Hernández '88, '90).
Real Madrid climbed to fifth place with 6 points from 4 games, only one point behind Atletico Madrid, which has a game in hand.
