La Liga (Week 4) : Atletico and Celta Vigo tied at 2-2
SPAIN, Sep. 20, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 4: The match between Atletico Madrid and Celta Vigo ended in a frustrating 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Atletico Madrid players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Miranda ('31) and Godín ('41) while Celta Vigo only scored once Hernandez ('19). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Celta Vigo with a saving goal from Celta Vigo forward Nolito on penalty in the 53rd minute.
Atletico Madrid climbed to second place with 8 points from 4 games, only one point behind FC Barcelona, which has a game in hand.
