La Liga (Week 4) : Espanyol and Malaga play to a 2-2 draw
SPAIN, Sep. 20, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 4: The match between Espanyol and Malaga ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Espanyol players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Ecuadorian forward Felipe Caicedo in the 16th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Stuani goal ('88) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Malaga with goals by Ignacio Camacho ('53) and Duda ('90).
Malaga CF climbed to 9th place with 5 points from 4 games, only one point behind SD Eibar.
