La Liga (Week 4) : Sevilla defeats Cordoba 3-1
SPAIN, Sep. 21, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 4: Three wins in a row for Sevilla. After their success against Espanyol and Getafe, Los Sevillistas continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 3-1 victory over Cordoba this Sunday.
Carlos Bacca scored dual goals
Sevilla dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Colombian forward Carlos Bacca in the 9th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Sevillistas further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Mbia '73 and Bacca '88/penalty).
Sevilla FC climbed to first place with 10 points from 4 games, one point ahead of runner-up FC Barcelona, which has a game in hand.
