SPAIN, Sep. 24, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 5: After their 2-2 draw against Celta Vigo on September 20, Los Colchoneros returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Almeria this Wednesday.
Almeria made Atletico Madrid doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Brazilian defender Miranda in the 60th minute.
Atletico Madrid climbed to second place with 11 points from 5 games, only one point behind FC Barcelona, which has a game in hand.
