La Liga (Week 5) : Rayo beats Bilbao 2-1
SPAIN, Sep. 24, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 5: After losing 2-3 to Elche on September 21 and 4-2 to Villarreal on September 21, Los Franjirrojos returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Athletic Bilbao this Wednesday.
Baptistao scored dual goals
Athletic Bilbao forward Aritz Aduriz opened the score in the 21st minute, before seeing Rayo Vallecano catch up in the 39th minute thanks to Baptistao. 1-1 at half time. Los Franjirrojos eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Baptistao with one minute left in regular time.
Rayo Vallecano de Madrid climbed to 11st place with 5 points from 5 games, tie on points with UD Almería.
