La Liga (Week 16) : Malaga defeats Elche 2-1
SPAIN, Dec. 21, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 16: Three wins in a row for Malaga. After their success against Deportivo La Coruna and Celta Vigo, Los Boquerones continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-1 victory over Elche this Sunday.
Elche had started off well by taking the lead in the 45th minute with a goal by defender Lomban. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Boquerones nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Camacho '49 and Alberto '77).
Malaga CF remains in 7th place with 30 points from 16 games, tie on points with Sevilla FC, which has a game in hand.
