La Liga (Week 17) : Almeria beats Malaga 2-1
SPAIN, Jan. 3, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 17: Two wins in a row for Almeria. After their 0-1 win against Celta Vigo on December 19, Los Rojiblancos continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-1 victory over Malaga this Saturday.
Almeria dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Hemed in the 39th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Rojiblancos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Hemed on penalty in the 76th minute.
Malaga CF remains in 7th place with 30 points from 17 games, one point behind Villarreal CF.
