La Liga (Week 17) : Rayo beats Getafe 2-1
SPAIN, Jan. 4, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 17: After three straigth defeats, Los Franjirrojos returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Getafe this Sunday.
Getafe forward Álvaro Vázquez opened the score in the 3rd minute, before seeing Rayo Vallecano catch up in the 39th minute thanks to Jozabed. 1-1 at half time. Los Franjirrojos eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Baena in the 64th minute.
Rayo Vallecano de Madrid climbed to 11st place with 20 points from 17 games, tie on points with RCD Espanyol, which has a game in hand.
