La Liga (Week 10) : Getafe beats Deportivo 2-1
SPAIN, Oct. 31, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 10: After losing 0-1 to Atletico Madrid on October 26, Los Azulones returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Deportivo La Coruna this Friday.
Getafe dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by goalkeeper Fabricio in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Azulones further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Lafita in the 46th minute.
Getafe CF climbed to 9th place with 13 points from 10 games, only one point behind Villarreal CF, which has a game in hand.
