La Liga (Week 10) : Valencia beats Villarreal 3-1
SPAIN, Nov. 2, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 10: Two wins in a row for Valencia. After their 3-1 win against Elche on October 25, Los Che continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 3-1 victory over Villarreal this Sunday.
Shkodran Mustafi scored dual goals
Valencia dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by midfielder Trigueros in the 6th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Che further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Mustafi '64, '73).
Valencia CF climbed to second place with 23 points from 10 games, only one point behind Real Madrid.
