La Liga (Week 10) : Levante defeats Almeria 2-1
SPAIN, Nov. 2, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 10: After losing 0-5 to Real Madrid on October 24 and 3-0 to Celta Vigo on October 24, Les Granotes bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Almeria this Sunday.
Levante dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward David Barral in the 26th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Les Granotes further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Casadesus in the 76th minute.
UD Almería are down in 14th place with 9 points from 10 games, one point behind SD Eibar, which has a game in hand.
