La Liga (Week 11) : Barcelona beats Almeria 2-1
SPAIN, Nov. 8, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 11: After losing 3-1 to Real Madrid on November 1 and 0-1 to Celta Vigo on November 1, Barca bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Almeria this Saturday.
Almeria had started off well by taking the lead in the 37th minute with a goal by French forward Thievy Bifouma. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Barca nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Neymar '73 and Alba '82).
FC Barcelona climbed to first place with 25 points from 11 games, one point ahead of runner-up Real Madrid, which has a game in hand.
