La Liga (Week 11) : Malaga beats Eibar 2-1
SPAIN, Nov. 8, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 11: Five wins in a row for Malaga. After their success against Granada, Cordoba, Rayo Vallecano and Real Sociedad, Los Boquerones continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-1 victory over Eibar this Saturday.
Eibar had started off well by taking the lead in the 42nd minute with a goal by forward Mikel Arruabarrena. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Boquerones nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Juanmi '53 and Amrabat '89 on penalty).
Malaga CF climbed to 6th place with 21 points from 11 games, only one point behind Sevilla FC, which has a game in hand.
