La Liga (Week 12) : Atletico beats Malaga 3-1
SPAIN, Nov. 22, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 12: After losing 2-1 to Real Sociedad on November 9, Los Colchoneros bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Malaga this Saturday.
Atletico Madrid dominated the first half thanks to goals from Tiago ('12) and Griezmann ('42). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Colchoneros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Godín with just 7 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Atletico Madrid climbed to second place with 26 points from 12 games, only one point behind Real Madrid, which has a game in hand.
