SPAIN, Nov. 23, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 12: After their 1-1 draw against Espanyol on November 9, El Submarino Amarillo returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Getafe this Sunday.
Villarreal dominated the first half thanks to goals from Gaspar ('38) and Moreno ('43). Leading 2-0 at the break, El Submarino Amarillo further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Villarreal CF remains in 8th place with 18 points from 12 games, 2 points behind Celta Vigo.
