La Liga (Week 12) : Bilbao beats Espanyol 3-1
SPAIN, Nov. 21, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 12: After their 0-0 draw against Valencia on November 9, Los Leones returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Espanyol this Friday.
Athletic Bilbao dominated the first half thanks to goals from Aduriz ('29) and Viguera ('44). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Leones further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Iturraspe in the 78th minute.
Athletic Bilbao climbed to 9th place with 15 points from 12 games, tie on points with Villarreal CF, which has a game in hand.
