La Liga (Week 12) : Elche and Cordoba play out 2-2 draw
SPAIN, Nov. 23, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 12: The match between Elche and Cordoba ended in a 2-2 draw on Sunday.
Cordoba players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Cordoba midfielder Fidel in the 12th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Cartabia goal ('60) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Elche with goals by Lomban ('63 on penalty) and Jonathas ('75).
Elche CF remains in 18th place with 10 points from 12 games, tie on points with Granada CF, which has a game in hand.
