SPAIN, Nov. 30, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 13: Two wins in a row for Atletico Madrid. After their 3-1 win against Malaga on November 22, Los Colchoneros continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-0 victory over Deportivo La Coruna this Sunday.
Atletico Madrid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Saúl Ñiguez in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Colchoneros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Turan in the 55th minute.
Atletico Madrid climbed to second place with 29 points from 13 games, 4 points behind Real Madrid.
