SPAIN, Nov. 9, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 11: After three straigth victories against Espanyol, Getafe and Cordoba, Los Colchoneros lost 2-1 against Real Sociedad.
Atletico Madrid forward Mario Mandžukić opened the score in the 10th minute, before seeing Real Sociedad catch up in the 15th minute thanks to Carlos Vela. 1-1 at half time. La Real eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Agirretxe with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Atletico Madrid are down in fourth place with 23 points from 11 games, one point behind Valencia CF.
