La Liga (Week 10) : Atletico beats Cordoba 4-2
SPAIN, Nov. 1, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 10: Three wins in a row for Atletico Madrid. After their success against Espanyol and Getafe, Los Colchoneros continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 4-2 victory over Cordoba this Saturday.
Antoine Griezmann scored dual goals
Atletico Madrid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French midfielder Antoine Griezmann in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Colchoneros further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Griezmann '58, Mandžukić '62 and García '81).
Atletico Madrid climbed to second place with 23 points from 10 games, only one point behind Real Madrid.
