SPAIN, Oct. 25, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 9: The match between Cordoba and Real Sociedad ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Real Sociedad players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Real Sociedad defender Íñigo Martínez in the 22nd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Cordoba with a saving goal from Cordoba forward Xisco in the 87th minute.
Real Sociedad are down in 17th place with 6 points from 9 games, one point behind Deportivo La Coruna, which has a game in hand.
