La Liga (Week 8) : Malaga beats Cordoba 2-1
SPAIN, Oct. 18, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 8: Two wins in a row for Malaga. After their 2-1 win against Granada on October 4, Los Boquerones continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-1 victory over Cordoba this Saturday.
Malaga dominated the first half thanks to goals from Garcia ('22) and Amrabat ('31 on penalty). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Boquerones further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Malaga CF climbed to 7th place with 12 points from 8 games, only one point behind Celta Vigo.
